Gathoni Mutua was born in Nairobi, Kenya, and attended both Kenyan and Canadian universities before transferring to Azusa Pacific University to pursue a BA in Theatre Arts. She is best known for her work as an assistant director on pilots, shorts, and movies.

Noni rose to prominence when he hosted the wedding show on Citizen TV before going to Ntv to broadcast new Baileys weddings.
