Kenya's tallest guy. Bradley Marongo has told how he traveled from Majengo in Vihiga County to Nairobi, where he now enjoys newfound celebrity.

Marongo, who is 8 feet 2 inches tall, set tongues wagging when he was photographed walking the streets during the Gen Z protests.

"My friend Mose, who works with one of the buses plying the Nairobi-Western region routes, one day told me that he was an upcoming artiste shooting some of his music videos but had yet to make it into the mainstream music scene, and asked to come with me to Nairobi," Marongo revealed in an interview with a local TV station on Friday, August 16, 2024.

When asked how he fit in a bus meant for people of ordinary height, Marongo explained that he sat on the floor mat along the aisle near the driver's side.

"Nilikaa na yeye(Mose) hapo mbele kwa mkeka," he said. (I sat on a mat on the bus floor)
