Dr. Fred Okeengo Matiangi is the immediate past Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Interior and National Security Coordination. Before President Uhuru reshuffled his Cabinet, he was the Minister of Education. Many consider the no-nonsense Cabinet Secretary to be the president's right hand man because he has been by the president's side since he took office.
