Kennedy Ombima AKA king kaka or Rabbit was born on Tuesday 7th May 1987. His father Julius Ombima died more than 20 years ago while king kaka was very young hence he was raised by his mother Elizabeth who was earning her living through Hawking of fruits along the streets of Nairobi.He attended saint John's primary school in Nairobi and later Joined Eastleigh Secondary school where he  served as the school's entertainment captain. After doing his KCSE exam he was offered a chance to join Moi University in Eldoret but declined and instead decided to take an accounting course in Nairobi so that he can be closer to the music action and close to the opportunities.King kaka started his music career in 2006 specializing in hipop.He has since partnered with other music actors such as Rich Mavoko, Tracy Morgan and Cassidy ,the lonely Island among others. His music label is the 'kaka  Empire'. King Kaka's most controversial song is 'Wajinga nyinyi' which describes Kenyan voters as stupid due to their behavior of electing corrupt leaders whose main aim is to steal public resources and amassing wealth without considering improving the living standards of Kenyans yet Kenyans keep on electing them.

Apart from being a musician, Kennedy Ombima is also a successful business man .In the year 2015 he established a purified water company known as Kaka Empire Majik water.He also owns a clothing line and a consultation firm.He is also a lecturer at Zetech University.
