Larry hails from  humble villages of Alego Siaya county. He studied both in Rural and urban schools. A very dedicated person who dreamt of becoming a catholic priest initially before changing to journalism after high school graduation.  He attended Usingo and Karapul primary schools and St Gabriel's Seminary for secondary education. And then studied Broadcast journalism in the university
