Johnny Drille is a Nigerian singer-songwriter originally from Edo State. He is signed to Don Jazzy's label, Mavin Records. Born John Ighodaro, he became interested in music at a young age. He first became known after the release of his hit single "Wait for Me" in 2016.
Early Life and Career
Johnny Drille started learning to play the guitar as a teenager. Following that, he began writing his own songs. In 2014, he competed in the MTN Project Fame West Africa singing competition, where he was discovered by Don Jazzy and quickly signed with Mavin Records.
