Jamnazi Africa is a band in Kenya mainly of Ongoro, the bandleader and vocalist-rhythm guitarist, is joined by Awilo Mike, the bandleader and vocalist. Other members include vocalists Javo Kamita and Kataliko, as well as solo guitarists Julius and Peter Daliti. Peter is the leader of the Jamnazi group, which stays behind when the other half of the group goes out performing.

But Ongoro is usually the face of the band. He is a talented man coming from Kendu bay Homabay county although his mother comes from Manyala tribe.
