Muslim Ali, alias Presenter Ali, is one of the new breed of freelance journalists challenging traditional media outlets. His grasp of the Swahili language, as well as the ease with which he conducts interviews, has made him one of Kenya's most popular content makers.
He was born in Mombasa on April 4, 1997, and spent part of his childhood in Nairobi. He is the third child of a family of three. Fatuma Shaban, his mother, is a nursery school teacher.
He attended Makueni's Kiambani Primary School before moving on to Ofafa Jericho High School in Makadara.
