Peter Gregory Obi CON, a politician and businessman from Nigeria, was born on July 19, 1961. In the 2019 general election in Nigeria, he ran as the vice presidential candidate for the People's Democratic Party (P.D.P.). He intended to run for president of Nigeria in the 2023 election.

Additionally, he will run for president of Nigeria in the 2023 general election. From 17 March 2006 until 2 November 2006, when he was impeached, then from 9 February 2007 to 29 May 2007, after his impeachment was thrown out, he presided as governor of Anambra State.
